Make-Up Time

Forms for Employment Changes

All non-exempt employees must complete the Request for Make-Up Time form for each and every time they wish to request to make-up hours lost due to their own personal needs or obligations.

Procedure

  1. Obtain a Request for Make-Up Time form which is available on-line or at UEC Human Resources Office. This form needs to be completed and approved by the employee's supervisor prior to taking the time off.
  2. Employees can only make-up the lost time in the same week, and he/she cannot work more than 11 hours in a single workday.
  3. After the approval, the employee must attach the Request for Make-Up Time form to their timesheet or time card.
